1/28/10 Joanne's Diary 先日１月１０日はハワイ日本文化センターが主催する、新春恒例の「オハナフェスティバル」でした。ここでは日本の移民とともに渡って来た文化、食べ物、武道、クラフト、美術、エンターテインメント、茶道などが一度に紹介されます。去年に引き続きキカイダーと伴さんがこのファミリー中心のチャリティイベントに招かれ、観客を喜ばせました。 去年は前日には大雨でしたが当日は見事晴れ。今年は残念ながら午後から曇り空になり、ついには雨となってしまいました。それでも、午後のショーを楽しみにキカイダーの出番を待ってくれたファンは、 ショーが始まると雨の中で参加してくれました。本当に有り難いことです。ハワイ大学ブラスバンド、キカイダーカラオケ、キカイダー商品が当たる抽選、キカイダーブラザース＆ギルも登場し、おかげさまでイベントは大賑わいでした。また、伴さんがサイン会と写真撮りに応じて下さり、昔のファンを初め子供たちも大喜びでした。 JNプロダクションズ＆GKスタッフの他、数多くのボランテイア、陰の力になって下さった方々に心から感謝申し上げます。 2010年も相変わらぬご贔屓をお願いするとともに皆様のご健康とご多幸をお祈りいたします。 オハナフェスティバルの様子は www.generationkikaida.com/gallery www.bandaisuke.com/gallery に載せましたので是非ご覧下さい。 JNプロダクションズ社長 ジョアン二宮 To all our friends, supporters and fans of Generation Kikaida: Thank you so much for watching our appearances and coming to the Kikaida Booth at the 2010 Ohana Festival sponsored by the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii (JCCH) at Moiliili Field on January 10th. The Ohana Festival is filled with keiki activities, food and craft booths, cultural demonstrations, and entertainment. We were fortunate to be a part of this event again this year. We were hampered by inclement weather again this year. The morning appearance went over well, starting with the UH Pep Band to entertain the morning crowd. There were amazing kiddie karaoke singers, drawings for prizes, and of course, the main event, "Gill's Monsters vs. the Kikaida Brothers." What amazed me was the afternoon crowd who braved the rain to cheer us on. Photos show parents and children in rain gear, holding up umbrellas, and still enjoying the show. JN Productions and Generation Kikaida thank all who worked behind the scenes, and in costume to make our appearance a success. Our guys and gals are simply the best to work with, and troopers at that. The JCCH Staff and volunteers were most helpful, and you, our audience never fail to make our day. We also thank Ban-san for the free autograph and photo taking sessions.
